How to transfer a .UK domain to VentraIP

Transferring a .uk domain name to us is a little different due to the way .uk transfers work. Here are the steps.
  1. Ask your existing domain name registrar to update the IPS Tag for your domain name to SYNERGY-AU.
  2. Submit a domain name transfer request from our website.
  3. Complete the ordering form and check out. If you’re unsure of where to find your EPP code, please contact your current domain provider for further assistance in obtaining it.
  4. Once complete, the domain transfer will be underway. As long as you have updated the IPS Tag.

How to transfer a .UK domain away from VentraIP

To transfer a .uk domain name away from us, you will first need to find out the new registrar’s IPS Tag. You can ask them for it, or you should be able to find their IPS Tag on Nominet’s website. Once you know what the new registrar’s IPS Tag is, you can submit a ticket to our technical support team asking for it to be updated for the domain name. From there, your new registrar will have their own process to complete the transfer to them. It will likely be different from registrar to registrar, so it’s best to check with them what to do next.
