Mail app setup for Samsung

Setting up your account for the first time

1. Open the Mail (or ‘Email’) App and select Add new account. Enter your full email address and password, then tap MANUAL SETUP.
2. Tap IMAP Account as the type.
3. Enter your account information.
   1. Email address: Your full email address needs to go here.
   2. Username: Your full email address, the same as above.
   3. Password: The password for your email account.
   4. Incoming server: locate your email server here.
   5. Security type: SSL.
   6. Port: 993.
   7. Continue filling out the details.
   8. SMTP server: this should be identical to the Incoming server.
   9. Security type: SSL.
   10. Port: 465.
   11. Make sure ‘Authentication required before sending emails’ is ticked.
   12. Username: your full email address again.
   13. Password: your email account password.
4. Tap SIGN IN.
5. You should now be ready to send/receive emails!
