Encountering issues logging into cPanel services while on new VIPcontrol
With our new VIPcontrol system we’ve had reports of customers using Safari or Firefox and not being able to login to cPanel/WHM services after they have logged in to the control panel. The issue appears to be the default pop-up blocking turned on in these browsers. We are working on resolving this issue; however, for the time being, you may need to allow pop-ups on our site so that you can reach all pages from the Control Panel.
For Safari on MacOS, this can be done by logging into VIPcontrol at “https://vip.ventraip.com.au/login” while in Safari and then from the top bar select Safari > Preferences > Select “Websites” from the top > Select “Pop-Up Windows” from the left menu. In the list given, you should see “vip.ventraip.com.au” — adjust this on the right from “Block” or “Block and Notify” to “Allow”. Refresh VIPcontrol and you should now be able to login to cPanel/WHM using the pass-through button.
On Firefox, while in VIPcontrol, select the “Options” menu on the right side of the browser and from the dropdown menu select “Content Blocking”. Scroll down to “Permissions” and select “Exceptions…” next to “Block pop-up windows”. In the “Address of website” field, type in “vip.ventraip.com.au” and press “Allow”. Refresh VIPcontrol and you should now be able to login to cPanel/WHM using the pass-through button.
On Microsoft Edge, in VIPcontrol, select the Menu in the top right and select “Settings > Cookies and Site Permissions”. Scroll down to “Pop-Ups and Redirects” and click the “Add” button under the “Allow” subheading and enter “vip.ventraip.com.au” and click “Add”. Refresh VIPcontrol and you should now be able to login to cPanel/WHM using the pass-through button.
